One of the youngest craft artists at the Father Cicero Craft Artists Association, Hércules Modesto de Souza explains what the institution means to him: “I was born in Juazeiro in 1988. I’ve been in the Association for 5 years. It all started when I came in one day, saw what the artists were doing and got hooked. I had nothing to do at home. So I started watching and making my own stuff. I enjoy working with regional themes.” |
