Known as Pedrosa, Marli Alves da Silva lives just beyond Clínio. She arrived from Poconé (MT) 10 years ago with her husband who had relatives in São Gonçalo Beira-Rio. She used to watch her sister-in-law and the neighbours working with clay and took a liking to it.
The vigorous and expressive animals she makes stand out among the utensils made by the majority of people in the region. |
